Düsseldorf, 20 September 2016 – Deutsche Rückversicherung AG is anticipating slight premium growth in both gross and net terms for the 2016 financial year. The company expects gross premium income of €874.1 million based on provisional projections.
Provided that claims remain within the anticipated range, Deutsche Rück is expecting a significant improvement in the underwriting result to €–2.2 million. In this context, the company anticipates an operating result of €9.3 million and a net profit for the year after tax of €16.9 million, compared with €14.7 million in the previous year.
